I recently opened a Case with the Number 669593, about issues when we tried to license any products Solarwinds Orion with License Manager. This error is presented too after installing or upgrading Solarwinds Orion NPM after an Evaluation.
The Solarwinds Support Team said follow these instructions:
1. Open License Manager
2. Deactivate all Licenses
3. Execute the License Reset Tool (view the attached file to see Password Reset)
4. Restart Services
After following these instructions you will be able to license Solarwinds Products
